MuddyCat’s new home

February 11, 2010

Hi Terry,

So far things are going well—he’s been using Tali’s room as his “base” and knows that he’s safe there.  He’s wandering around the house more, and is running away less when the dog comes around.  It’s actually the dog that needs more training than him—of course she would love to play and run around and sniff his rear end, and he’s not that interested!  MuddyCat did show great interest in the dog’ food though, even though he’s been eating his own (not doing much w/ his dry food).  So we’ll find a way to NOT let him do that!

He’s being lovable though, welcoming to all the PEOPLE in the house!  The kids like him a lot, and have renamed him “Geoff(rey) Chaucer”, don’t ask me why, I guess just because Tali really wanted an author’s name!  They call him Geoff, I call him Mr. Chaucer, Sir.

Thanks again for letting us take him!  Hope you’re not missing him too much!

I’m soooooo glad Muddy got adopted…and now he has a distinguished name (although I really liked his old name, too)!

Muddy cat is a favorite from the kitty lodge. Such a friendly cat. Glad Muddy (Geoff) has a good home.
