Adopting a Kitty

When you adopt one of Terry’s beautiful kitties you will be adopting a healthy and very well cared for kitty. The kitties all use their scratching posts and litter boxes faithfully, and they all keep themselves very clean! All the kitties deserve to be adopted and have their own forever homes so they can sleep on the bed, lounge on the sofa, and be a part of their own family!

…and remember, when you adopt a kitty you are also saving another kitty because there is then room in the Kitty lodge for another rescued kitty!

All of the kitties are FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise noted), have age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, are regularly treated for fleas with Advantage Multi, and have a clean bill of health. The adult kitties are all spayed or neutered: the kitten are spayed or neutered if they are old enough, but if the kitten is too young when adopted Terry will make arrangements for spay/neuter when the kitten is old enough.

Terry cares for and loves all the rescued kitties like they are her own, and she very thoroughly interviews potential adopters because she wants to make sure everyone will be happy (people & kitty!). She knows all the kitties intimately and you can discuss with her exactly what type of kitty personality you are looking for. If you see a kitty that you would like to adopt, you and the kitty will want to meet each other. You are required to fill out an adoption application and, as the adoption process continues, Terry will do a home visit (no exceptions!). Once everyone agrees that you & the kitty are a good match, you are required to sign an adoption contract before you can take the kitty home. There is a small adoption fee for each kitty, but the kitties are worth it and it is a small price to pay for one of Terry’s kitties!

Petsmart Adoption Days!

You can now meet Terry & some of her kitties at the Petsmart in the Blakeney Shopping Center! Contact Terry to find out which days she will be at Petsmart, and if the kitty you want to meet will be there with her.
